Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum Review, July 18, 2011
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum ReviewFirst off I have to be perfectly honest. I have never in my life used liquid eyeliner. That being said. This was a “fun” product to review. The first few times I attempted to apply. Well just say I had to remove or touch up more than once the first week. Which is not hard to do with a slightly damp q-tip. The other new factor for me was allowing this to dry. But really was only a moment. The fine tip applicator is great, once I had gotten the application down to a “sort of” perfect art. I really do like the color as well Deep Brown. The liner also comes in Ultra Black and Black.I do prefer my makeup to have a soft look around my eyes (hey I’m not 16 any more). So after the liner had dried I then applied my eyeshadow. This worked great! I could still see the liner but not as harsh. Another plus to this one is, it did not smug or run all day!
Now let’s get to the “2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum” part of the Review. I really had my doubt about the ability to grow or even thicken my lashes. As we all know the older you get the thinner our lashes appear. However I was actually quite impressed with the results. My lashes do appear to be coming in a bit thicker. This is without daily wear. I have many days I go without makeup in the heat of summer. So I will continue to use Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum.

Great for Sensitive Eyes, January 3, 2013
I actually have this liner in a sort of burgandy color and I love it. I don’t know if it actually “boosts” lashes – I don’t wear it every day & find you need to use a lash booster at least once a day – but I have VERY sensitive eyes that water a lot and find this liner to be completely non-irritating and to not run when my eyes water. Great things in a liquid liner. Plus the felt-tip pen is the easiest to apply of any liquid liner I’ve ever used.Right now I have my hair dyed a fall/winter shade of burgandy-red and the eyeliner goes perfectly with my hair and makes my green eyes look really green. I like to do all of my eye makeup including some regular eye liner in a soft color, then go back with this one right along the lash line in a very thin line, and suddenly my eyes look a lot bigger without noticing the liner so much. I imagine the brown would give the same effect. You could make a thick or thin line very easily with this.I have used other eyeliners from this brand and also find them to be non-irritating and pretty smudgeproof. I like the crayony kohl ones that come 3 in a pack & have bought a few different ones when I change my hair color (which I do a lot).By the way, I think the best lash booster out there is the Lash Serum from Loreal. Just the serum, not the weird mascara. It has an annoying applicator, but if you comb through with a clean lash brush after being sure to coat your lashes every day, your lashes will definitely grow. If they are too light to tell the length and you have a very steady hand, Amazon also sells lash dye – for advanced beauty aficianados only! (Potential for eye irritation high, but lovely to wake up with long dark lashes if you can use it.)
