Love all the products from this skin care line, July 24, 2015
This was my first time trying the bb cream from this skin care line. I have light skin tone and my skin is oily/combination. The color medium was a little too yellow on my skin but I tried mixing it with my missha bb cream in the color #21 and it turned out sooo beautiful!!! It has a silky/velvety feel to it and left my skin so smooth and matte looking. I love it!

My oh my! I’ve never had anything like this before, that’s for sure. This sunscreen can definitely be worn by itself like a makeup. This is the perfect product to put on going to the park with my daughter since it’s got SPF20 and like what I said, it looks like its your regular makeup (with a really good coverage).
I’ve always been a fan of BB creams (asian brands) because of their skin health benefits and good SPF, but one thing where I find this Effaclar BB Blur surpasses those is its beautiful finish which is a velvet matte. Usually, whatever foundation or BB cream I’m wearing, I’d always want to put a finishing powder on top of it to give me a “smoother” and more perfect finish – whether its necessary or not.
But so far, this sunscreen-makeup is the only one where I get satisfied enough to wear by itself. To me, that speaks a lot. It’s got a powdery-like finish or what is usually called “velvet” finish. The longevity of this product is impressive too. Usually I find my face pretty oily at my T-zone within 2-3 hours. This one kept matte on me for way more than 2 hours. I’ve worn this for as much as 8 hours and it held up pretty well.
The texture of the product itself is very much like a mousse. It’s very similar to my all time favorite drugstore foundation which is the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. Only that this one got no parabens in its ingredients, while the Maybelline has 5 (yes, 5!). Overall, I’m very impressed with this product and definitely worth the price tag.
