I have tried MANY products for my dry, sensitive skin, and this is the only stuff that healed my dry patches and peeling skin. It is way way better than the original cicaplast and is more like a moisturizer than a primer. It does not irritate my skin, is clear of parabens, and even soothes the redness in my skin. Incredibly moisturizing, and I’ve tried products from -0. I am a huge La Roche-Posay stan, and this stuff is a miracle for me. Under ! How do you beat that?!?!

This is not like cicaplast, cream like but not thick. and it adjusts very soon and keeps my skin moist.
After using this at night, next morning my skin feels more calm and soft. and during the day I feel this protects my skin well.
And unlike cicaplast this blends very well with other skim items, such as serum, lotion and foundation.

to be fair, i literally just received this, and promptly tore apart to packaging in my eagerness and slathered my face with it. immediately, my skin was soothed and calmed down drastically, very smooth. so, i suppose i’m gonna continue use (as sort of my nightly ritual, but the ingredients also appear to be make-up friendly) and i will update on any changes of heart i may have. but so far, i adore this baum. furthermore, i did appreciate the free sample i received 🙂

ooooh, and timely delivery is always nice.

I first discovered this product while watching the amazing Lisa Eldridge on you tube doing a tutorial on how to cover acne. I figured if she is touting that this product is good for acne prone skin then I must try it. I’ve heard La Roche-Posay mentioned for sunblock as a staple product (which is true) but this Cicaplast is like gold gel in a tube. I cannot express how incredibly easy this product glides across the skin because you must experience it to understand. This isn’t your “typical run of the mill” moisturizer because it does so much more than that.
This product really sinks into your skin and hydrates it from the inside out. As someone who has suffered from acne for years, this product is a God send because it does NOT clog pores.
It’s consistency is almost that of a high end foundation primer because it really gives a thin non-filmy layer of velvet across your skin and makes pores less visible. In fact, in many cases, those high-end primers can often cause breakouts and are incredibly pricy with packaging that contains less than an ounce of product. Invest in this product and you will not regret it!

I’m still relatively young and don’t wear makeup usually but the one thing I do is moisturize. I’ve tried all sorts of products–generic store brands to pretty expensive products. The things I want in a moisturizer is to be lightweight and to not have a scent. For the longest time I was using Shishiedo products, which were both lightweight so it didn’t make my face super greasy after 5 min and relatively scent free (just a hint of scent but it didn’t bother me).
The only thing was Shishiedo products were really expensive and after awhile, I wasn’t really noticing a change in my skin, plus in the winter seasons, Shishiedo wouldn’t be strong enough and I’d always have some extra dry flaky spots that I would notice if I ever did decide to put on some light foundation. I came across this product from a Lisa Eldridge video (who once used to work for Shishiedo so I knew I’d probably like the product). She said it would get rid of flaky patches and was also for people with eczema as well as people who got chemical peels.
My skin isn’t that dry but I thought I would try it since the price on Amazon was relatively cheap and like a 1/4 of Shishiedo’s price. It’s probably the best moisturizer I’ve tried. It looks and feels a bit like Neosporin, but doesn’t leave the greasy residue. It absorbs into your skin instantly and you don’t even have to put a lot on your face to have the same effect as other moisturizers that you have to slather on to get rid of your dryness. It leaves your skin feeling plump and soft and after a week or two of use, I can see the difference in my skin whereas other products I’m not sure if I ever saw the difference or didn’t notice any difference in so short a time.
My skin is clearer (was recently having some breakouts and using this product it seems to keep the breakouts at bay), smoother, and even toned. When I put it on, my skin looks super healthy and clean. I can go a day or two without using it and still have my skin feel soft and moisturized. It’s a small tube but it should last a long time because you don’t need to squeeze a lot out. It tells you to use it twice a day, but I think for me one’s enough because it’s super moisturizing already.

I did a ton of research before I came across this product. As a cystic acne sufferer, I was in search of a product that had these following qualities; lightness, it wouldn’t break me out, and that it would repair the awful flakiness that acne products have caused. Well, this product fit ALL of the qualifications and then some. As this product states in its name, it helps to aid in epidermal recovery (which is your top layer of skin) after a chemical/cosmetic peel.
I do not get peels but as I said, the acne products I use do dry my skin out and makes it super flaky and this product really corrects that. It has a gel consistency and is super concentrated so you do not need a lot! I have a tendency to use a lot of moisturizer because I could never find one that did what it claimed, until the Cicaplast Epidermal Recovery Accelerator. My true test was being able to use it at night and to see if it would break me out, because almost every other product I have used has ended up doing that.
I have been using this for about 3 weeks faithfully, every night and it has not broken me out ONCE. Anyone who is on the fence, just try this because it really is a difference maker. This is a product from an elite French skin care company and it will not disappoint.
